All Welsh Final Eyed By Punters At BoyleSports World Grand Prix

An all-Welsh BoyleSports World Grand Prix final between Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton is already in the minds of punters after Clayton joined his compatriot in the last eight on Wednesday evening.

The World Cup of Darts-winning teammates are on opposite sides of the draw and are both odds-on shots to book semi-final spots, while Price is now a short 5/4 shot to defend his title ahead of his quarter-final match against Dave Chisnall.

Clayton, who denied Jose de Sousa in the Premier League Final in May, was gambled down to 10/3 second favourite from 7/1 after asserting his authority over ‘The Special One’ with a 3-1 victory on Wednesday, which means…

a final showdown between the leading Welsh pair is now rated the most likely decider according to the betting at 2/1.

Danny Noppert’s 3-0 whitewash of Vincent van der Voort saw him backed into 12/1 from 22/1 to land his first major PDC title this weekend, while Krzysztof Ratajski is now 8/1 third favourite from 14/1 after dashing the hopes of former world champion Rob Cross.

Bet on Darts.
