Ambitious Racing Gamble Nets Dublin punter €5,091

A Dublin horse racing punter kicked off their weekend in spectacular fashion after four horses and some savvy betting bagged them a fantastic €5,091.92.

The customer staked a total of €50 which was spread out across €1 each way Doubles, totalling €20, €1 each way Trebles, totalling €20, and a €1 each way Four-Folds, which totalled €10. All three bets had the same five selections across Friday’s cards at Sandown, Sedgefield and Exeter.

The selections were; Travertine at 3/1 in the 2.15 at Sedgefield, Schiehallion Munro at 6/4 in the 2.50 at Sedgefield, Defi Du Seuil at 14/1 in the 2.35 at Exeter, Alsa Mix at 14/1 in the 2.25 at Sandown and Mendip Express at 7/2 in the 3.00 at Sandown.

Travertine was the only selection not to win their respective race.

However all was not lost for this Dubliner as the other four horses won seeing payouts across the multiple Doubles, Trebles and Four-Folds.

The Four-fold was the most profitable of the three, returning €2,571.22 with the Treble seeing a windfall of €1,984.48 and finally the double paying out €491.21. When combined it resulted in €5,091.92 total
