Angela Scanlon Favourite For Strictly Come Dancing Drown

Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon has become the favourite for the Strictly Come Dancing Crown after support in the betting.

The 39-year-old has been backed into 3/1 favourite from 5/1 with BoyleSports to win the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Scanlon recently hosted Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything on RTE One, has been singled out as the most likely celebrity to lift the Glitterball trophy after all fifteen contenders were confirmed by the BBC.

The Co. Meath native is well known to British television viewers too having appeared as a reporter on The One Show since 2016. She has also co-hosted the BBC’s Robot Wars from 2016 to 2018.

Strictly Come Dancing Betting Odds

Bobby Brazier, best known for his role as Freddie Slater in EastEnders, was originally made favourite by BoyleSports for the new series. Despite Angela Scanlon taking his favourite tag the 20-year-old British model and actor remains a popular choice at just 7/2 which makes him the second favourite to win this year’s show.

Next up in the betting we have English Actor Layton Williams who is 5/1 to be crowned the king of the dancefloor.

Joining Williams at odds of 5/1 to win this year’s show is Nigel Harman who is a fellow English Actor. Harman is best known for appearing in Casualty while he also gained prominence for appearing in Eastenders from 2003-2006.

Further out in the betting some of the outsiders include stand-up comedian Eddie Kadi, who is 25/1, while former Family Fortunes host Les Dennis needs to overcome outside odds of 50/1 if he is to be crowned king of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
