Bernard Brogan Subject Of Price Slash For Management Role

Dublin footballer Bernard Brogan has announced his retirement from inter-county football with a statement posted on his Twitter account on Thursday afternoon.

After 15 years of playing for his beloved Dublin, the All-Star winner has decided to hang up his boots.

This has resulted in major movement in the ante post market for the 2010 Footballer of the Year to go down the management route and take over any Inter-County team next season which is now into 10/1 from 20/1.

It’s 16/1 from 20/1 for Brogan to become the next Dublin senior football manager after Jim Gavin.

The 35-year old Dubliner won a staggering seven All-Ireland medals and established himself as both one of the great modern forwards in Gaelic football and the third highest scorer in Dublin football history. If broadcasting is a route he opts for, we make Brogan 25/1 to be the next permanent host of The Sunday Game.

The cast is set to be revealed in November for Dancing with the Stars Ireland and should the multiple All-Ireland champion footballer feel like swapping his boots for some dancing shoe,s he can be backed at 4/1 cut from 8/1 with some punters keen to see his happen.
