The Third Round of the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby at Shelbourne Park. First of those Derby Heats is up at 8:10pm.

The Vuelta a Espana gets underway and there will be live coverage of the opening stage on Eurosport from 6pm.

The Formula 1 returns after a few weeks break.
The Belgian Grand Prix is this week’s race. Qualifying starts at 1pm and is live on BBC1 and Setanta Ireland.

The Challenge Cup Final between Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos. Kick-off is at 3pm and it is live on BBC1.

The Rugby Championship between the four southern hemisphere big hitters gets into full flow.
