Betting Suspended On Ed Sheeran Returning To Croker In 2017

BoyleSports can report that they have had to suspend the market on Ed Sheeran returning to Croke Park in 2017 after they were inundated with bet requests in their Dublin shops on Sunday morning.

Sheeran had initially been cut into 1/10 from 1/2 before Christmas to play the remaining two concert dates at Croke Park in 2017 after sustained support. The Thinking Out Loud singer, who released two new songs last Friday, now looks nailed on to return to GAA headquarters as punters were up early on Sunday morning to try get some large bets on Sheeran playing two dates at Croker this year.

We barely had the doors open in a few of our Dublin city centre shops on Sunday when we were inundated with requests for Ed Sheeran to return to Croke Park in 2017.

Our traders had no choice but to suspend the betting as there had previously been interest in Sheeran returning to GAA headquarters, which saw the price cut drastically into 1/10 from 1/2.

After Sheeran released two new songs last Friday and amidst speculation that he is set to headline Glastonbury, it now looks like it’s only a matter of days before an official announcement that the ginger crooner will be returning to Croke Park. The Dublin stadium still has two concert dates free with Coldplay occupying the other date in July.
