Biden At Shortest Price Ever Amid Virtual Debate Row

Joe Biden is enjoying his strongest support from punters so far in the race for the White House as Donald Trump rejected the idea of a virtual debate on Thursday.

The commission in charge of next week’s debate scheduled for Miami said it would have to take place remotely as the White House deals with a number of positive Covid-19 tests, including one from Trump himself.

But the sitting President rubbished the idea saying it would ‘protect’ his opponent, while his campaign have indicated they will hold a rally at the same time instead.

The second TV debate is up in the air but from the trends we’re seeing, Trump’s opposition to a virtual dual is doing him no favours.

The latest spat in the election battle, however, is doing nothing for Trump’s chances of a second four years in the Oval Office, with BoyleSports easing his odds further on Thursday out to 13/8 having started the week at 11/10.

Biden, on the other hand, is now a strong 1/2 odds-on favourite from 5/6 at the start of the week.

A couple of expected swing states are proving close calls as the pair cannot be separated in Ohio at 10/11 apiece, although the Democrats have edged ahead in the Florida betting at 8/11 from 5/6.
