The Pat Kiely trained Twoinarow has been attracting bettors to win the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby this year and now he has become the favourite to win the BoyleSports Champion Stakes.

The sponsors opened the betting earlier this week after the draw had been completed and traders reported that within minutes, they had to trim the odds on Twoinarow into 4/1 from 5/1.

The son Droopys Sydney – Murdaniel Beauty got back to winning ways last week clocking 29.48 over the 550 yards trip ad beat Race of Champions winner Bockos Budsit on his way to victory.

It was an impressive win from him and the pair could meet in the final as they have managed to avoid each other in the semi-final heats.

Bockos Budsit races in the opening heat and this Graham Holland speedster is 6/1 from 8/1 in the betting.

He will surely set a searing gallop to the third bend, but he tends to run out of petrol on the home straight so the likes of Sentimental Lad at 12/1 can get the better of him. He is the new track record holder for the 575 yards trip, so none will be coming home faster.

The third heat can go to Crokers Spirit in trap one who is 8/1 in the betting for trainer Matthew Harte. He is well housed, but the dog everyone is excited about races from trap two, Tullig Raven.

He has one race on his card and it was a winning one as he clocked 28.23 on debut in Tralee for trainer Pat Buckley. He is inexperienced but punters like him as he is already 12/1 from 16/1 and looks to have a bright future.
