BoyleSports Forced to Suspend Who Will Rule Westeros Betting

BoyleSports have been forced to close their Who Will Rule Westeros betting just hours before the launch of season 7 of Game of Thrones.

Punters have been inundating BoyleSports with large bets on none other than Cersei Lannister to be the one who sits on the Iron Throne and rules Westeros.

Cersei was initially priced as a relative outsider at 12/1, but following an avalanche of bets on Sunday, the eve of the first episode of season 7, her odds were drastically cut to 2/1 seeing her take over as the new favourite.

That didn’t deter punters however and it left BoyleSports with no other choice but to close off the market indefinitely.

Before the gamble on Cersei, Daenerys Targaryen was the red hot favourite at 15/8 to rule Westeros with Jon Snow next at 2/1.

In other Game Of Thrones markets, Petyr Baelish is the 8/11 favourite to die first in season 7 and 1/6 to be killed off this season. Ellaria Sand is also a firm favourite to die this season at 1/7 and is following Baelish closely at 6/4 to be the first killed.

From early Sunday morning we saw large bets roll in for Cersei Lannister to sit on the Iron Throne and rule Westeros, but we smelled a rat in the afternoon as punters showed no signs of slowing down, leading us to believe there is a spoiler out there that we have yet to see. It seems Jon Snow isn’t the only one who knows nothing!
