We have the latest BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby betting odds for you including a massive mover after the Shelbourne Gold Cup.
Bogger Hunter Odds Cut
The Ian Reilly trained Bogger Hunter has been cut to win the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby later this year following his terrific Gold Cup victory at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night.
This son of Skywalker Farloe – Bottle Of Banter dug deep to get the better of Rathdown Molly after she took up the lead down the back straight. The writing was on the wall however as Bogger Hunter wouldn’t give up and eventually hit the front.
He won by a length in a time of 28.52 with his odds now cut into 40/1 from 100/1 to go on and win the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby this September. Runner-up Rathdown Molly has also been trimmed into 40/1 from 66/1 while Gold Cup favourite Stream Of Sydney is 33/1 from 40/1 after running on strong to grab third in the final.

Born Warrior Drifts In The Odds
2022 Derby winner Born Warrior didn’t seem to be at his best with his odds on winning back-to-back titles now on the drift out to 33/1 from 25/1. The Michael J O’Donovan trained Coolavanny Hoffa remains the 12/1 ante post favourite.
Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said:
Bogger Hunter was absolutely brilliant on Saturday night and it was a really good result for our book too with the favourite getting beat.
“It might be early days yet but his odds have been cut for the big one in September and we expect those odds to shorten further if he manages to collect anymore silverware this year.”
