Boys In Green Odds On For Euro 2016 Spot

The Republic of Ireland’s 1-1 draw with Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Stadion Bilino Polje on Friday night has put the Boys In Green in prime position for Euro 2016 qualification.

Ahead of the second leg clash with the side on Monday Martin O’Neill’s side has been cut into 4/7 to qualify having been 11/10 before their first leg match.

The Republic of Ireland have the home advantage on Monday and can be backed at 13/10 to win. It’s 2/1 to finish up in a draw, like the first leg, with Bosnia 23/10 to cause an upset at the Aviva Stadium.

Robbie Keane and Darryl Murphy lead the First Goalscorer betting at 11/2 apiece to give Republic of Ireland the early advantage. Edin Dzeko is 6/1 to put Bosnia in front by netting first, also on offer at 6/1 are Shane Long and Jonathan Walters.

The Handicap betting sees Republic of Ireland -1 priced at 15/4 with Bosnia +1 6/10 and the tie -1 11/4.

Dzeko’s late equaliser couldn’t dampen Irish spirits and we are happy enough to take the 1-1 draw ahead of Monday night’s second leg of the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

With Martin O’Neill’s men on home soil and undoubtedly an extra boost of hope, qualification is now odds on at 4/7 which patriotic punters are only too happy to snap up.
