Bryony Frost And Frodon Impress At Kempton As They Prepare For Ryanair Chase

Bryony Frost teamed up with Frodon on Saturday afternoon for the Grade Two Silviniaco Conti Chase at Kempton and the mighty duo didn’t disappoint for trainer Paul Nicholls.

The 2019 Ryanair Chase winner at the Cheltenham festival has been trimmed into 7/1 from 10/1 with BoyleSports to win back-to-back victories in the Grade One race following his impressive display at Kempton and remains a 25/1 shot for the Gold Cup.

Mossy Fen has been added to both the Ballymore and the Albert Bartlett markets following his win in the Grade Two Novices’ Hurdle at Warwick for Sam and Nigel Twiston-Davies, a race the pair won together seven years ago with The New One.

Mossy Fen stayed on well and dug deep over the 2m5f trip with 25/1 available for both races.

Davy Russell made the journey to Thurles on Friday for one ride and it was worth the effort as Ard Abhainn landed the Mares Novice Hurdle as the 7/4 favourite beating Rebel Og and Heaven Help Us. Ard Abhainn is trained by Gordon Elliott and has been introduced to the Mares Novices’ Hurdle at Prestbury Park at 16/1.

Tiger Roll has a big contender to be worried about in the Grand National as Kimberlite Candy won the Grade Three Handicap Chase at Warwick on Saturday for trainer Tom Lacey pulling away from his rivals to win by ten lengths.

Kimberlite Candy has been added to the Aintree Grand National as a 14/1 shot and looks an exciting type having finished second on his previous start to Walk In The Mill at Aintree in the Becher Handicap Chase.
