Carlow Punter Turns €3 Into €100,000 With Lotto Bet

A BoyleSports customer had a Good Friday to remember when their EuroMillions bet bagged them the life-changing sum of €100,706.

The Carlow native, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a €3 bet on the four numbers 4, 14, 23 and 33 on Friday’s EuroMillions Main Draw.

When all four numbers were drawn they defied monumental odds of 33,00/1 and bagged a phenomenal €99,003.

However their luck didn’t stop there as they also had two 20cent Double’s and two 20cent Treble’s which all clicked, bringing this plucky customer’s winnings up to a mind-blowing €100,706.

That wasn’t the only windfall to hail from County Carlow as another native scooped an incredible €36,306.70 on the same EuroMillions Draw.

The punter placed a 50cent Treble, €1 Accumulator and 50cent Double on the same four numbers, 4, 14, 23 and 33, which won a combined sum of €36,306.70. The most profitable bet was the €1 accumulator as it returned €33,001.

Had either of the triumphant punters chosen to do their numbers at their local newsagents they would have walked away with just €44 each.

It wasn’t just a good Friday it was a great Friday in Carlow with two natives winning a combined €137,000 on the EuroMillions Draw.
