Chelsea Deserted In Race For Top Four

Champions Chelsea are now expected to join Arsenal outside the Premier League’s top four at the end of the season after wins for rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United on Sunday.

Jesse Lingard’s winner at Old Trafford saw Manchester United go six points clear of Chelsea as they reclaimed second spot in the table from Liverpool. The Red Devils are now 1/12 from 1/7 to grab one of the coveted top four positions, joining Liverpool as heavy odds-on shots at the same price after they brushed aside West Ham at Anfield on Saturday.

Tottenham are 3/10 from 4/11 to claim a Champions League berth after Harry Kane’s late winner against Crystal Palace, but Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who had been third favourites at 7/2 to win the Premier League at the start of the season, are now odds-against at 5/4 to finish in the top four.

The race for second has heated up after both Liverpool and Manchester United won this weekend and

they can’t be separated at 5/4 in the betting without Manchester City market.

Alvaro Morata’s early shot which rattled the crossbar at Old Trafford meant BoyleSports were forced to pay customers double winnings on all markets on the match, which saw Willian paid out at 18/1 to score the first goal after he gave Chelsea the lead in the 32nd minute.
