City Close In On Liverpool But Odds Suggest It’s Klopp’s Title To Lose

Premier League Outright

Manchester City pulled Liverpool’s lead in the Premier league back to just 4 points after they recorded a 3-0 win over bottom of the table Huddersfield.

However, they remain priced at 6/5 to topple Jurgen Klopp’s side who are red hot at 4/6 to win the league.

Relegation looks all but confirmed for Huddersfield as their odds shortened further to 1/33. The Championship is also calling for Fulham who suffered a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham and were cut into 1/4 from 4/11 as a result.

The win for Spurs has seen their Top 4 odds cut yet again as they are now 2/9 from 1/4 sitting relatively comfortably on 51 points in third place in the table.

Arsenal got back to winning ways on home soil after fending off Chelsea to record a London Derby triumph over the Blues.

The win for the Gunners has put them three points shy of 4th placed Chelsea

and resulted in their odds shortening into 10/3 from 5/1 to finish within the Top 4.

The defeat for Maurizio Sarri’s side has highlighted some worrying performance issues that may be detrimental to their Top 4 hopes. They have been eased out to 1/2 to from 1/4 off the back of the dismal display.

Despite a seventh consecutive win for Manchester United, goal difference sees them lie in sixth place in the table. However, as caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggests the they’ll ‘keep the train rolling’ and interest continues in their odds to break into and remain in the Top 4, they have been cut into 6/4 from 7/4.
