Clare Backed To Inflict Third Consecutive Defeat On Rebels

Punters are backing Cork to go down to their third consecutive league defeat when they host Clare on Saturday evening.

The Banner go into the Pairc Ui Rinn encounter off the back of an away victory over Kilkenny last time out while Cork were beaten by Wexford on their own patch by a four-point margin.

Clare closed into 8/11 from 4/5 on the eve of throw-in with John Meyler’s hosts now 6/4 to register the first win of their league campaign.

All-Ireland champions Limerick are the only Division 1A side to win their two matches to date

…and they are 8/11 favourites to see off Kilkenny at Nowlan Park on Sunday, with the Cats outside 6/4 shots.

The Treaty go into the weekend as joint 7/2 favourites alongside Limerick to top the division, while they are 20/1 to pull off the National League and All-Ireland SHC double.
