Co Cork Shop Pays Over €5,000 on €0.20 Each Way Lucky 15

A punter in County Cork had a Saturday night to remember when they landed an incredible €0.20 each way Lucky 15 bet, despite only investing €6 on their lucky horses.

There is something in the water in Cork as this our 4th large pay out this week.

The anonymous customer placed their tiny accumulator in a BoyleSports shop in Cork on Saturday afternoon, picking four horses across the UK and Ireland race cards including Punchestown, Newmarket and Doncaster.

The 3.10 race at Punchestown was the first leg in the ambitious bet with Cloudy Morning destroying the field to win by 18 lengths at 11/1. There was money for the Declan Queally trained 11-year old with our customer getting on early at 20/1. A brilliant start to the wager.

Princes Des Stables was withdrawn in the 4.10 race at Newmarket meaning the bet was reduced from four selections to three.

Mr Adjudicator obliged in the 5.35 race at Punchestown at 20/1 for the son and father duo of Patrick and Willie Mullins. There was one runner remaining for our Cork native’s bet.

Across the pond now to Doncaster where Sir Maximillian landed the massive coup at huge odds of 33/1 and only won by a neck. The dramatic finish resulted in the €0.20 each way Lucky 15 landing to send the punter home with €5,026.27, from a stake of just €6.
