Collymore Caught Up In Marseille Violence

Stan Collymore was on the front line for BoyleSports last night as trouble erupted following England’s opening group game with Russia in Marseille.

Broadcasting live for BoyleSports on Periscope, the ex-England footballer was caught up in skirmishes outside the Stade Velodrome and found himself immersed in clouds of tear gas as French Police attempted to disperse trouble-makers.

The footage has now amassed over 200,000 views since it was broadcast live last night.

Regarding events on the field, Collymore bemoaned England’s failure to secure all 3 points against Russia.

But he praised their “pace, tempo, guile and imagination” in falling just short in their opening group game. Looking ahead to their next encounter with Wales in Lens, Collymore stated Hodgson’s men must not lose and find themselves in an unenviable position:

England need something, Wales don’t.

Stay tuned to the BoyleSports Twitter feed for further live and exclusive broadcasts from Stan Collymore at the heart of the action as Euro 2016 continues in France.
