The son of Droopys Sydney and Coolavanny Ella clocked an impressive 29.24 in the second heat to secure a semi-final berth and has now fallen into 7/4 from 5/1 to be crowned 2022 champion.
Tullig Raven, Bockos Budsit and English Greyhound Derby champion Romeo Magico were high profile casualties in the opening heat which went the way of Ballymac Finn, who is now rated the main danger to the favourite having seen his odds slashed in half from 10/1 to 5/1.
Heat three winner Maries Wedding has plummeted into 12/1 from 33/1, while Callaway Pro Am is now third favourite at 7/1 from 10/1 after his unblemished record in this year’s derby continued in the closing quarter-final heat.
