Crusaders FC Unveil New Jersey Commemorating 125 Years

Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) Premiership side, Crusaders F.C., have today unveiled their new Home and Away jerseys commemorating the 125th anniversary of the club emblazoned with the club’s new official sponsor, BoyleSports.

The new jersey will be worn for the first time by the Men’s team in the Irish Cup Final on Sunday the 7th of May.

In a deal signed earlier this year, Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker, BoyleSports, agreed a minimum three-year deal to sponsor the club, kicking off with the 2023/24 season.

The partnership will see updated BoyleSports branding on site at Seaview and the brand’s logo present across all of the club’s official kits (excluding children’s), across all teams.

BoyleSports sponsors numerous sporting fixtures and is also an official partner of Newcastle United Football Club and principal partner of Birmingham City Football Club and Coventry City Football Club.

Speaking about the new jerseys, Ronnie Millar, Chairman of Crusaders said: “We are absolutely delighted with our two special kits from Adidas. Having a premium brand and a partner in Pro:Direct Soccer coupled with the support from our sponsors, BoyleSports, is very exciting. I hope our supporters like the jerseys and special anniversary crest.”

Commenting on the unveiling of the new jersey’s, Sharon McHugh, Head of Sponsorship & PR, with shirt sponsor BoyleSports, said: “We are delighted to be principal partners of Crusaders F.C. at such an important moment in their history. Both jerseys have been wonderfully designed to commemorate a very long and successful 125 years and we are especially proud to be able to celebrate this milestone with the club. We look forward to seeing the Men’s team walk out in the new home strip on 7th May for the Cup Final.”

Pro:Direct Soccer, who have replaced Hummel as manufacturer of the team jersey, have produced a red and black striped home kit that ties into the Adidas brand which includes a specially designed one-off gold crest to commemorate the club’s 125th year, while the Away kit is a slick black and gold version, again incorporating the bespoke gold crest.

The Home jersey will be worn for the first time by the Men’s team in the Irish Cup Final on Sunday 7th May v Ballymena United.

Established in 1898, Crusaders is one of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most successful football clubs. Based out of Seaview stadium in North Belfast, “The Crues” have won 30 senior trophies, including seven league titles.
