Dubliner Spends Valentine’s Day Counting €8,005 Lotto Loot

A Dublin resident may well be feeling the love this week after a small flutter on the Lotto landed them a four-figure windfall just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The anonymous customer placed a simple €5 bet in one of our shops in the capital on Wednesday, picking four numbers to come out in the Daily Millions draw at 8:50pm that evening.

Facing odds of 1,600/1, the punter was left waiting on numbers 10, 13, 26 and 29 but

the odds tumbled as the draw got under way and all four ended up rolling out, triggering the tasty payout.

Their €5 betslip was swapped the next day for a grand total of €8,005.
