Kerry Punter Racks Up €7500 Profit From €1 Wager

A County Kerry native is counting their lucky stars after an ambitious €1 bet on four numbers paid off in the best way possible.

The punter, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed their bet in a BoyleSports shop in the county on Wednesday and picked numbers 20, 25, 27 and 30 to be drawn in the Irish Lotto that evening.

The odds of 7500/1 against all four landing started to tumble as the numbers rolled out and once the draw was complete they had been smashed completely.

It meant the customer was able to return to the shop and pick up a tidy profit of €7500.

There are worse ways to invest a €1 coin than taking aim at our massive odds for the Lotto and we have to congratulate our customer from County Kerry who was thinking big things with only a small stake. Fair play to them for pulling off such a coup and we hope they enjoy the winnings!
