Limerick Punter Collects Over €20,000 From €60 Stake

One punter in County Limerick had reasons to pop open the champagne on Tuesday afternoon after their incredible €2 each-way Lucky 15 landed on horse races at Wolverhampton and Musselburgh.

The customer called into their local BoyleSports betting shop in the county, selected four horses in the UK and added them into a €2 each-way Lucky 15 bet slip that amounted to €60 in total in the hope that they would get some sort of a return.

The first winner in the 3.00 race at Musselburgh was Northernpowerhouse who won by half a length at 11/2 for trainer Bryan Smart. It was onto Wolverhampton for the next three races then as Baby Steps (5/1), Fantastic Flyer (14/1) and Street Poet (10/1) all obliged for the punter.

Over the space of an hour and a half, all four horses clicked for the lucky Limerick native and they were able to exchange their bet slip that cost €60 for a whopping amount of €20,616.35.
