Donegal Racing Wager Collects €13,590.00 In Just Over An Hour

A punter in County Donegal is celebrating a stunning coup on the racing after a flutter on three horses trained by Jim Bolger turned into a beautiful weekend windfall.

The anonymous customer put down their bet in a BoyleSports shop in the county on Sunday afternoon, picking three horses in the meeting at Naas. They backed all three horses in a €10 patent bet that amounted to a stake of €70.

The selections were running in the last three races at the Kildare track with Solage obliging as the first winner for the wager at lovely odds of 14/1 in the 16.00 race. It was then Mother Vincent who landed the 16.35 race for jockey Luke McAteer at 8/1, meaning there was just one more race left.

Onto the last leg in the 17.10 race as Halimi won nicely for jockey Kevin Manning at 7/1 to give trainer Jim Bolger a fantastic treble on the card. When the racing had finished and the results were known, the punter was able to exchange their docket for a jaw-dropping amount of €13,590.00 from a total stake of €70.

What a way to wash away those Monday blues for our Donegal customer who managed to turn their stake into a profitable €13,590.00 on horse racing.
