Donegal Rose Chloe Kennedy The New Rose Favourite

The Rose of Tralee celebrated its 60th birthday on Friday night at The Dome in Tralee in a full black-tie affair.

As the birthday celebrations continue in the Kingdom, it’s the Donegal Rose Chloe Kennedy who has stolen the show so far.

On Friday Chloe Kennedy from Donegal Town had been trimmed into 6/1 from 16/1, but on Saturday morning more support arrived for the brown-haired beauty with her odds now 7/2.

Chloe is the new favourite for the Rose of Tralee sash taking over from the Kerry Rose Sally-Ann Leahy who is 4/1.

The Rose of Tralee winner each year is the Rose deemed the most ‘lovely and fair’ based on her personality, who will represent the festival well both at home and abroad during her time as the winner.

Judging by the reaction to Chloe Kennedy in the betting, the famous pageant title could be heading up north to Donegal.
