Dublin Golf Punter Hits The Target With 728/1 Double

A punter in Dublin was toasting their knowledge of world golf at the weekend after they picked out winners in two events to bag themselves a four-figure windfall.

The anonymous customer struck the bet on their BoyleSports online account placing a €10 double on Joachim B. Hansen to win the Joburg Open on the European Tour and Robert Streb to win the RSM Classic on the PGA Tour.

Hansen, who was backed at 8/1, obliged in South Africa with a final round of 67 to win by two shots, while Streb overcame odds of 80/1 to complete the golf double with a play-off victory against Kevin Kisner in Georgia.

When the final putt was holed on Sunday the Dublin based punter was able to log in to see their account topped by a cool €7,290.

We can’t put this one down to a stroke of good fortune because our Dublin customer must have known their stuff to pick out two winners, never mind one chalked up at 80/1. Hopefully the win makes this year’s Christmas shopping a bit easier!
