The anonymous customer placed their wager via their online BoyleSports account and opted for a small €0.50 accumulator on four numbers coming out in the main EuroMillions draw on Tuesday evening.

They were left hoping for numbers 4, 6, 10 and 19 all to come out against odds of 33,000/1, but all four rolled out triggering the staggering payout.

They were then able to log back into their account and see that their €0.50 stake had transformed into a jaw-dropping total of €16,500.50.

The punter selected the numbers 4, 6, 10 and 19 and faced odds of 33,000/1 against all four landing, but they all rolled out from the machine to trigger the celebrations.

The fortunate punter logged back in not long afterwards to see a windfall totalling €8,250.25 sitting in their balance, which will give them a fantastic midweek boost and all from a tiny stake.
