Outright Betting

The draw for the quarter final of the FAI Cup was made on Tuesday and will see Shamrock Rovers take on Dundalk for a place in the semi-finals.

Dundalk could be on for treble success this year with the Lilywhites in prime position to win the league and 3/1 joint favourites for the FAI Cup after the draw. Despite being drawn against Rovers punters are continuing to support the Co Louth side to end their twelve year wait for cup glory.

Shamrock Rovers, are making a bid for their 25th FAI Cup, having last won it in 1987 and can be backed at 7/2.

St Patrick’s Athletic have yet to play their third round replay against Shelbourne (40/1) but the 3/1 joint favourites are expect to sail through to the quarters finals where they will face Bohemians (10/1).

Drogheda just fell short of the mark last year losing 3-2 to Sligo Rovers in the final. The Drogs are 9/1 to go all the way ahead of their clash against Derry City, who are a more favourable price of 4/1 to lift the cup.

Avondale Untied and St Michael’s will play on Saturday in their third round replay fixture with the winner going on to play Finn Harps, who are available at 25/1 to secure their second title.
