Elliott Enters Race For National Hunt Championship Title

Irish NH Trainers' Championship

Outright Betting

Following the news that Gigginstown House Stud has ended their partnership with Willie Mullins, we’ve priced up a market on the Irish National Hunt Trainers’ Championship.

Mullins is 8/11 to retain the crown, but the loss of the Gigginstown horses has resulted in Gordon Elliott being introduced at Evens in the betting.

Over the past few years we have had no betting available on the Champion Irish National Hunt Trainer as Willie has dominated it, going from strength to strength each year.

Following the loss of around 60 Gigginstown horses, his rival Gordon Elliott will no doubt be strengthening his relationship with the high flying owners.

Elliott currently leads the 2016/17 Irish NH Trainers Championship by just under €80,000 in prize money and with Don Poli, A Toi Phil, Apples Jade and Blow By Blow already confirmed for the County Meath based handler, we have installed him at Evens to win his first Irish Trainers’ Championship as the contest is now wide open.
