Musk used his own social media platform to declare that he was “up for a cage fight” with Zuckerberg, while the latter responded with a screenshot of the tweet and a caption saying “send me location”.

Now two of the world’s most high-profile billionaires could be slogging it out in a Las Vegas Octagon on Musk’s recommendation, but the Twitter magnate is rated as the 6/4 underdog to come out on top if the tech bosses end up trading blows.

39-year-old Zuckerberg has already been training in mixed martial arts and has recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments, so the odds suggest Elon must get his skates on.

This fight, if it goes ahead, would without doubt be the richest of all time. Both men are among the richest and most powerful people in the world.

Elon Musk is the richest person in the world with a net worth of $232.6 billion according to Forbes. Zuckerberg isn’t exactly struggling for cash either as the founder of Facebook’s net worth is estimated at $99.9 billion which makes him the 10th richest person in the world.

Billionaires are famous for their big egos so there is a lot on the line here in this fight whether there is prize money on the line or not. The loser will suffer a serious blow to their pride.
