Epsom Oaks 2014 – Marvellous Betting Odds

Boylesports can report further support for Aidan O’Brien’s Irish 1000 Guineas winner, Marvellous, ahead of the Epsom Oaks on June 6th.

The daughter of Galileo was initially cut into 10/1 from 16/1 following her win at the Curragh on Sunday but punters latched onto her overnight and have now supported her into 7/1.

Currently, Taghrooda heads the betting at 7/4 with the Dermot Weld-trained Tarfasha next in the betting at 6/1.

Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “We cut Marvellous into 10/1 from 16/1 following her Irish 1000 Guineas win on Sunday but punters believed that she was still over priced for the Epsom classic and latched onto her.”

He added “On Monday morning we laid the daughter of Galileo at 8/1 and have had to cut her further into 7/1. The support continues to come for her and judging by the current demand, the current 7/1 may yet dry up before the day is out.”
