Bohemians Favoured For FAI Cup Final
Bohemians are set to kick off the FAI Cup Final as 4/6 favourites with BoyleSports to get their hands on the silverware at the expense of St Patrick’s Athletic.
The Bohs lost their most recent league meeting with their Dublin rivals, but warmed up for Sunday’s showdown at the Aviva with a 4-0 thrashing of Cork in their Premier Division finale, while St Pat’s ended their campaign with defeats to champions Shamrock Rovers and runners-up Derry City.
The Phibsboro side will be without skipper Keith Buckley due to injury but are odds-on to avenge the penalty shootout defeat to the same opponents when they met in the final two years ago, while a repeat penalty shootout victory for the Saints is a 17/2 shot. But Declan Devine’s side are 13/10 to end his first season in charge on a high by getting the job done in normal time.
Odds of 11/5 are available on the match going into extra time, as has been the case in six of the last eight FAI Cup Finals.
