Betting Suspended On Keane Taking Celtic Job

Traders have been forced to suspend betting on the next Celtic manager on Tuesday morning after seeing an avalanche of support for the current Republic Of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane to take the job.

Having been supported into 4/1 from 8/1 on Monday, the demand continued for Keane on Tuesday morning.

After a substantial flurry of bets on the Cork native, the market was suspended at lunchtime.

We didn’t lay a single cent on original favourite Martin O’Neill over the past 48 hours, it’s all been about Roy Keane and it left our traders with no other choice but to suspend the market as it now appears that the ex Man United man has been in talks with the Celtic management and things have gone smoothly so far.

The Glasgow club confirmed yesterday that assistant manager John Collins will leave at the end of the season along with current manager Ronny Deila.
