Seeley’s Selections – Reading v Bradford – FA Cup 1/4 Final Replay

Whilst the goals will be flying in the Premier League clash between Swansea and Liverpool, the same can’t be said in the FA Cup quarter-final between Reading and Bradford live on the BBC on Monday night.

This is a huge opportunity for either one of these sides with a place at Wembley awaiting the winners and a crack at holders Arsenal. I expect that huge carrot that is tangling over these two will affect the football spectacle we will witness and this promised to be a turgid affair.

This isn’t going to be pretty; the reverse fixture ended in a dire 0-0 draw in a game which featured just one shot on target and more of that riveting stuff is expected again in this one. The hosts are 20/23 with BoyleSports to win this one and with a division separating them, they will be popular bet, as will Bradford though at 10/3; they love a cup upset, but please don’t get sucked in to backing either side, just play the draw at the 12/5 with BoyleSports.

Bradford have drawn their last three matches and all of them have seen under 2.5 goals and that has been a winner in their last five matches

…and with so much at stake on Monday night, the 7/10 with BoyleSports on that being a winner again is the banker for the bigger punters amongst you.

Reading have been so inconsistent this season and you just can’t risk any money on Steve Clarke’s side, especially as they’ve only one win their last six matches. All The Royals’ form this season has been away and at short prices, they should come with a public wealth warning.

The two would still be playing now in the reverse fixture and neither would have found the net and now their know that the holders await the winners of this tie, this will be very, very tight again and at 15/2, no goalscorer in the game is a bet I like.
