George Looks To Land Right Hook With Charity Bet

Irish broadcaster and rugby pundit George Hook is hoping to land a windfall for charity after striking a speculative politics bet with BoyleSports.

The host of Newstalk FM’s ‘The Right Hook’ took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to flirt with the idea that Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump could make it all the way to the White House with his ‘Making America Great Again’ campaign.

Our very own Liam Glynn was on hand to join Hook on his drive-time radio show to offer the Cork man a €200 bet at odds of 5/1…

…against Trump’s campaign ending up with him taking residence in the Oval Office early next year following a victory at the polls in America this November.

Hook has pledged to donate any winnings to the Irish Rugby Football Union Charitable Trust, formed in 1978 to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives.
