Germany New Favs As Crossbar Refunds Snowball

Germany have taken over as the new Euro 2016 favourites following their 3-0 win over Slovakia.

New Favs
Joachim Löw’s side have knocked host country France off their perch at the head of the betting after shortening into 7/2 from 9/2 when they booked their place in the quarter-finals against Italy or Spain.

France meanwhile crushed Republic of Ireland’s hopes of securing a European Championship quarter-final after a 2-1 win in Lyon on Sunday.

The Irish got off to a great start after Robbie Brady’s penalty put them 1-0 up after 2 minutes, however France’s Antoine Griezmann rallied in the second half to score twice in three minutes, sending Martin O’Neill’s men crashing out of the Euros.

Crossbar Pounded
Our infamous Crossbar Challenge clicked yet again in Ireland’s clash with France seeing thousands of losing bets refunded as free bets across ALL markets.

Refunds have now been applied to two Republic of Ireland’s four matches at the European Championships.

Our misery was compounded further when Kevin de Bruyne hit the crossbar in the first half of Hungary v Belgium, leaving traders counting the cost of yet another batch of refunds.

Hosts France have now been eased out to 9/2 from 4/1 as they prepare for their quarter-final clash with either England or Iceland, pending their round of 16 fixture on Monday.
