Jon Rahm Tipped To Star For Europe In Paris

Spanish sensation Jon Rahm is the rookie being backed to star for the European side at the upcoming Ryder Cup in Paris.

The World Number 7 was made 13/8 favourite with us to be the top rookie on Thomas Bjorn’s side and at 7/2, he only has American Justin Thomas (10/3f) ahead of him in the betting to be the overall top scoring rookie at the event at Le Golf National at the end of the month.

Bryson DeChambeau, with recent back-to-back victories on the PGA Tour, is third favourite at 4/1 to be the top newcomer ahead of 5/1 Englishman Tommy Fleetwood.

Tiger Woods meanwhile is the 4/1 favourite to be the top points scorer among the wildcard picks, with Ryder Cup specialist Ian Poulter a 6/1 shot for the European side.

Woods is a 14/1 shot to be the top overall points scorer in a tight market, with Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson all tied for favouritism at 10/1.
