Enable Backed For King George & Prix de l’Arc Double

Enable sent the world of horse racing into raptures on Saturday afternoon following her remarkable victory, and first Group 1 win over the trip of a mile and a quarter, winning the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown on her seasonal debut.

The John Gosden-trained mare became only the third of her sex to win the Eclipse after Pebbles (1985) and Kooyonga (1992) and did it in style as she racked up her eighth Group One triumph.

BoyleSports slashed Enable’s odds for the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes into Even money from 5/4 but the price had to be reduced again due to the support and the unfortunate news of Sea Of Class, resulting in her price now at 8/11.

The two-time winner of the Prix de l’Arc is aiming to become the first horse to win the title for a third time with the odds now 5/4, cut from 6/4. The initial plan was for her to run in the King George VI, the Juddmonte International and then the Prix de l’Arc but trainer Gosden has mentioned he would like to aim for the Yorkshire Oaks instead of the Juddmonte International.

What a wonderful mare Enable is to win on her seasonal debut in such empathic fashion beating Magical yet again in a thrilling finish.

With the above speculation in mind, BoyleSports have priced up Enable to win the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Prix de l’Arc at 5/2 and until her Yorkshire target is finalised, we will be holding off on a price for the treble.
