Stablemates Set For Showdown At Kempton

The anticipated clash between stablemates Cue Card and Thistlecrack is on course for next Monday’s King George at Kempton.

Reigning champion Cue Card is now 6/5 from 5/4 to win back-to-back races. However his stablemate Thistlecrack, who is priced at 11/8, has made an impressive leap to the larger obstacles.

The World Hurdle winner has won all three of his starts over fences this season.

Tea For Two is next in the market at 12/1 alongside the supplemented Josses Hill with dual winner Silviniaco Conti and the Noel Meade trained Road To Riches priced at 25/1. Roi Des Francs makes up the market as the 50/1 outsider.

Cue Card remains the biggest loser in the antepost book and continues to attract support as he bids to remain on course for the million pound bonus if he can manage to win the King George and Gold Cup having already landed the Betfair Chase.
