4/1 shot Got Away was first up in the 2.50 at Leicester and his victory was quickly followed by Captain Redbeard (3/1) in the 3.00 at Kelso and Blue Point at 1/4 in the 3.05 at Meydan.

When Le Capricieux won the 3.10 at Fontwell,

the increasingly excited customer barely had time to switch attention to the 3.15 at Clonmel,

…where Glen Of Aherlow produced a nail-biting late run to narrowly hit the line first, less than a length ahead of the horse in 2nd.

The flurry of activity saw all five horses score victories within a half-hour period and turned the €5 investment into a stunning profit of €7,084.84.
