Ireland have been given odds of 5/1 to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup. That makes the Irish the joint-third favourites along with group rivals South Africa who have also been installed at odds of 5/1.

The two teams ahead of Ireland in the betting for this year’s Rugby World Cup are New Zealand, who are favourites at 5/2, and hosts France, who are 11/4 to win their first-ever Rugby World Cup.

Next up in that market is a New Zealand victory over Ireland which is rated as the same likelihood at odds of 14/1 also.

If Ireland are to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup then the team they are most likely to beat in the final are New Zealand at 20/1. Tournament hosts France are the second most likely team that Ireland will beat in the Final if they make it there according to our odds makers who give it a 25/1 chance of happening.
