Italy Leapfrog England In Euro 2020 Betting Ahead of Scotland Showdown

England’s odds of going all the way in Euro 2020 are lengthening ahead of their showdown with Scotland at Wembley on Friday.

Italy’s second consecutive 3-0 victory in Group A saw Roberto Mancini’s side overtake the Three Lions as second favourites behind France at 11/2 from 7/1.

The increased support for the Italians has also seen England eased slightly to 13/2 from 6/1 on the eve of the highly anticipated Group D clash with their neighbours.

Gareth Southgate’s men are however favourites to make it two wins from two on Friday at 1/3, although a draw has been trimmed into 4/1 from 9/2 as Scotland fight to keep their qualification hopes alive.

Raheem Sterling has been backed down to 5/1 from 6/1 to open the scoring having bagged the decisive goal in their opener against Croatia, while Southampton striker Che Adams, who started on the bench for Scotland’s Hampden Park clash with Czech Republic, is being rated as the likeliest player to find the net for Steve Clarke’s side at 10/3 from 4/1.
