Jamie Lee Harrison A Threat To BGT Title

Singer Jamie Lee Harrison saved the Blackpool Britain’s Got Talent auditions on Saturday when he stunned the judges and audience with a pitch perfect rendition of REM’s ‘Everybody Hurts’.

Jamie Lee is most certainly one to watch as he goes straight into the betting at 7/1, alongside Angara Contortion. Only two acts stand in the way of Jamie Lee’s BGT title hopes, 5/2 favourites Missing People Choir and singer Sarah Ikumu who is the 9/2 second favourite – and Simon’s Golden Buzzer act.

Ant and Dec gave Matt Edwards their Golden Buzzer, seeing the comedic magician sail straight to the live semi-finals. At 10/1 Matt joins a host of acts in the betting such as County Down Choir, St Patrick’s Junior Choir, comedian Daliso Chaponda and fellow magician Issy Simpson.

Keyboard player Mal Ford showed that persistence is key after he turned four X’s into four yeses, unfortunately that same approach doesn’t work when it comes to his odds to win as he is a 100/1 shot.

Also making it through were Welsh choir Angelicus Celtis (20/1), dance groups Tap Tastik (66/1) and TNG (33/1) and knife-throwing couple Tyrone and Mina (100/1).

Jamie Lee Harrison almost gave up on his dream of becoming a singer, but at 7/1 it looks like his dreams may come true on Britain’s Got Talent as he is a firm contender for the title.

Jamie Lee is already pulling some focus away from punters favourites Missing People Choir and Sarah Ikumu

so we definitely have a close eye on him.
