Jon Rahm won his first and only major championship at the 2021 U.S. Open which was held in California. Rahm hit rounds of 69-70-72-67 on the Par 71 course to finish the tournament with a score of -6 beating second-placed Louis Oosthuizen by one stroke and third-placed Harris English by three strokes.
Rahm claimed his second major success last year after his -12 score beat Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson by 4 shots.
