Jose Shortens To Win Champions League Title During Spurs Stint

Jose Mourinho has been confirmed as Tottenham Hotspur’s new manager following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday evening.

56-year old Mourinho has been out of management since leaving Manchester United in December 2018 and now the Portuguese makes his Premier League return on a contract that will run until the end of the 2022/23 season. This will be his third Premier League club after two spells at Chelsea and one at Manchester United.

Following the news, BoyleSports have trimmed the odds on Spurs winning the Champions League under Jose’s stint into 8/1 from 12/1, a competition Jose has won twice as a manager.

The 2018/19 runners up are now 28/1 to win this seasons Champions League, cut from 33/1.

The Lilywhites are now 4/1 from 6/1 to lift the Premier League trophy under the time Jose is their manager with a Top 4 finish this season cut into 3/1 from 4/1 in the last few hours. A chance to win the FA Cup by 2023 is just 5/4 from 7/4 while the Carabao Cup is a 2/1 chance from 3/1.
