Journey With Me Odds Halved For Ballymore Following Leopardstown Maiden Win

Henry De Bromhead got a big boost after Journey With Me won the Maiden Hurdle at Leopardstown on Wednesday under jockey and RTE SPOTY star Rachael Blackmore.

Journey With Me won by 3½ lengths to the Gordon Elliott trained Minella Crooner with the 4/6 favourite Kilcruit another 1¼ lengths behind in third.

Henry De Bromhead’s bright prospect has been cut into 6/1 from 12/1 for the Ballymore and 6/1 from 10/1 for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival next March.

Peter Fahey and Kevin Sexton teamed up together to win the Grade Three Mares Hurdle with Royal Kahala, who got up on the line to beat Heaven Help Us by a neck.

Royal Kahala is 8/1 from 16/1 to win the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham while Heaven Help us is 10/1 from 25/1 after her gallant effort.

Teahupoo obliged for favourite backers at 8/15 by winning the Grade Two BoyleSports Sporting Limerick Hurdle by half a length under young jockey Jordan Gainford. This Gordon Elliott trained 4-year-old has been cut into 16/1 from 20/1 for the Champion Hurdle.

The brilliant Sharjah won the Grade One Matheson Hurdle for the fourth time for trainer Willie Mullins and remains unchanged at 10/1 for the Champion Hurdle. Zanahiyr is 14/1 from 20/1, while third placed Saint Roi is 20/1 from 33/1.

Gordon Elliott had more graded success with Fury Road who won the Grade One Novice Chase at Leopardstown under jockey Jack Kennedy. Fury Road is now 8/1 from 25/1 for the National Hunt Chase and has been introduced into the Festival Novices’ Chase betting at 10/1.
