Jubilant Nicholls Tipped To Rule Next Season Too

Paul Nicholls claimed a 10th British National Hunt Trainers’ Championship at Sandown on Saturday and has been installed at 8/11 to retain the title next season and add an 11th crown to his glittering training CV.

Nicholls claimed victory after Just A Par and Southfield Theatre claimed places in the 4.10 at Sandown leaving him with an unassailable lead over his closest challenger Willie Mullins.

Things didn’t go to plan for Mullins at Sandown on Saturday but..

…having taken the title down to the wire this season, he is 11/8 to claim the championship in 2016/17.

Nicky Henderson who last won the title in the 2012/13 season is priced at 10/1 to win it back next season.
