Late Gamble On Mairead Ronan To Win Dancing With The Stars
Mairead Ronan has made a dramatic late surge up the betting to win Dancing With The Stars ahead of this weekend’s grand finale.
The TV presenter had been a 4/1 shot before her St. Patrick’s Day performances which included a Viennese Waltz that scored a perfect 30, which initially saw her odds clipped into 10/3.
However, steady support all week has forced us to slash her odds into 15/8, putting her hot on the heels of long-time favourite Johnny Ward.
The Love/Hate star survived a semi-final dance-off against comedian Fred Cooke to secure a final berth last weekend and has been an odds-on shot to go on and win the contest for several weeks. But with just Sunday’s final performances between him and the glitterball trophy, he has drifted out to 10/11 from 8/13.
Country singer Cliona Hagan is also on the drift this week, with her odds eased to 7/2 from 3/1.
