Limerick Gambled Already For 2021 All-Ireland SHC
Limerick are already seeing support from punters to retain the Liam MacCarthy Cup next year following their impressive All-Ireland final victory over Waterford at Croke Park.
John Kiely’s men led all the way and scored 0-24 from open play as they swept Waterford aside to record an 11 point victory and become All-Ireland champions for the ninth time.
Now their chances of a third title in four years are already shortening and we’ve cut them into hot 13/8 favourites from 2/1 following Sunday’s decider.
The early betting makes Tipperary the main danger at 7/2 while Kilkenny are 7/1 shots to dethrone Limerick having ended their bid at the semi-final stage last year.
Waterford’s run to the final has seen them clipped in to 10/1 from 12/1 to go one better next year as their 61-year wait for an All-Ireland title goes on.
