Liverpool Backed To Miss Out On Top Four Premier League Finish

Liverpool are the side being backed this week to miss out on finishing the Premier League season inside the top four ahead of their rearranged clash with Manchester United on Thursday.

The Reds started the week six points adrift of the top four in sixth place and it’s Chelsea and Leicester City who are attracting the bulk of money to book Champions League spots ahead of next weekend’s finale.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were as short as 1/16 for a top four berth before Christmas but are now 11/10 shots, while Chelsea have sunk into 1/14 from 9/4 since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

Leicester are also coming in for strong support at 8/11, while West Ham’s chances took a hit following their 1-0 defeat by Everton, seeing David Moyes’ men eased all the way out to 11/1 from 10/3 to secure a place in the Champions League.

The top four race has been one of the most fascinating aspects of the whole season and punters have turned their backs on West Ham following their recent defeat. But Liverpool are now they’re out of favour too at 11/10 as we enter the final stretch.
